What do you think of when you think of the first generation Scion Tc? How about badass doomsday bug-out vehicle? I didn't think so. Personally, I always liked the body styling, I just thought the internals were crap. Apparently, somebody with more time on their hands and a clear lack of restraint, decided to take my train of thought to its illogical conclusion. I attend UCSD, and this car was an irregular sight around campus. I always wanted to get a closer look and was excited to see the beast at the annual car show. Unfortunately, the owner was nowhere to be seen, I really wanted to question the mettle of a man obviously poised on the edge of insanity.
My personal favorite was the escape hatch hewn into the corrugated steel rear "window".
The interior looked like a scrapyard. In a good way. The exterior was delightfully derelict, covered with rust, bullet holes, and steps welded here and there. A lovely touch was the flap on the exhaust. Also, you can't tell in these pictures but the pirate flag hanging off the back is massive. That can't be understated.

Someone is clearly either a maniac or an awful lot of fun...or both. Would totally want to meet whoever created that too.

These are the only bullet holes I've seen on a custom car that look realistic. Hell, I think those are actual bullet holes.

This would be 100x cooler if it was on something that could actually go off road, like a WRX wagon (preferably bug eye) or an X-Drive 330i E46

Check the Post Apocalyptic Cars group on Facebook. It's closed, but they'll usually approve you in a few minutes.
I've been reading a lot about these cars since the Mad Max trailer came out. Also check out the rides from Wasteland Weekend.
